I've login using this app, but it can't start stream, im sure that my internet is good
and im using Google DNS 8.8.8.8

Describe the bug
The input form in the live stream comments section allows users to send comments even without anything entered inside the textbox. Add a prevention logic to disable form submit if the input/value for comment is empty.

Expected behavior
Should prevent the user from allowing to send empty comment text requests,

I didn't find any license info in the repository. What is the license of this app?

Hey! It`s working great for me w OBS Windows 10 - thankyou! 1 little issue... Comments are muted no matter which way i set the switch for "Mute Comments" This a known thing? Anything i can do on my end? Cheers

Describe the bug
Cannot login into the software, asks for "6 digit code" that is supposed to be sent on email. I never received any code

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open app first time
2. Enter login credentials
3. The app displays "Security Checkpoint", enter 6 digit code
4. The code is never sent on email (by instagram?)
5. I tried to login to instagram in my webbrowser and it asked if I trust the new location? I answered yes but still no code

Expected behavior
Receive the code on email

I think the API is broken - I came here from the API portal, users report same problems

My instagram has second factor activated and i get the message "Invalid 2FA Code" trought sms, app. I've tried disable one at time and proceed the login but doesn't work at all. That problem happens on appimage and .deb as well

I am trying to use this application as indicated in the tutorials, but it does not work, the application starts, I can login perfectly, but later the streaming process does not start, that is, it does not advance to the next screen.

I use the version for Linux, my operating system is Ubuntu 22.04.

my npm version in 8 and package lock and package for npm install is not compatible.

As the live session progresses, we normally keep the comments screen on, so that we can read and respond to viewers' comments.

However, this means we cannot see the timer, which is currently on the other screen.
This often leads to a surprise interruption when the live stream time limit ends and we are suddenly kicked out.

It would be useful to include a timer in the comments screen, so that we know how much time we have left for our live stream before we're kicked out.

Problem with login in development mode
After starting the development server, I cannot log in.
The console log is saying: Form submission canceled because the form is not connected  ​

To Reproduce

1. start the development server with npm run electron-dev
2. fill with user and password
3. check the console log if you see the following message:

4. Add option to save live video to story or discard in the end of stream.
5. Accept, reject and close requests to being part of a live is accessible from this app.

I got a message saying there was a login through a Samsung SM-G965F. Is this normal. Do you run a virtual machine (something like BlueStacks) in order to stream to Instagram?

unfortunately with the new version of the app, after one hour instagram live stops but the timer countdown inside the app continues
so after all the 4 hour feature of your app with the latest instagram update is not working
it would be great to fix it

The official builds seem to be collecting the username of the logged in user. Your privacy policy does mention this. However I fail to understand why this is necessary. Sentry by default will only log unhandled exceptions. The methods implemented are logging to console by default (exceptions are handled). So in essence, this app seems to be collecting analytics on who installed and used the app (and how many times did that person login). Why not track downloads instead?

When I try to log into the app, Instagram blocks the account and asks me to change my password. I tried with another account and it worked normally but when I tried my company account this happened.

It seems the streams are not in stereo. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello, when i replying and receiving comments i got multiple instances of same comment.

i'm using macos catalina 10.15.7 and latest version of streamon

Instagram now supports up to 4 hours streaming, however Streamon cuts it at 1 hour.
It would be great to allow us to continue for longer time

I got infinity checkpoint, I've clicked "this was me" but when I start to login, it happened again. Please add verify method by phone or email

I am using obs and out in the stream url and key however nothing shows up on instagram while it's live streaming.

Live streaming on the RTMP endpoints received from Instagram stops after approx 15 mins.

we see following error thrown from media server when this happen NetConnectionCallResults.handleResult[116:0]: params: AMFDataList: [0] _result, [1] 0.0, [2] null, [3] undefined

When using OBS, it is some times cumbersome to switch between the OBS window and the Instagram Live Streamer to read and answer comments. It would be a really useful feature if one could dock the whole thing somehow into OBS.

I followed the instructions as mentioned. I made sure NPM, node and python were updated before beginning. Build was successful and I was able to install it without any errors. But after launching the application from command line I just get a blank screen. I tried to run it in development mode and tried to access localhost:3000 but it too just opens a blank page with the header Instagram Live Streamer but doesnt show any content. I tried it on Kali as well as Parrot OS and got the same output. Is there anything that I am missing ?
