ShopSense - Flutter Mobile App

This is a part of my another project Multi-Vendor eCommerce Solution with Spring, Angular and Flutter. You will find the complete project overview there.

This README file provides step-by-step instructions for setting up and running the Ecommerce Flutter Project in Android Studio. This project is a mobile application built using the Flutter framework for creating a basic ecommerce app.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following software and tools installed on your system:

  1. Flutter: Make sure you have Flutter installed on your system. You can download it from the official website: Flutter Installation Guide.
  2. Android Studio: You'll need Android Studio to run the Flutter project. Download and install it from the official website: Android Studio.
  3. Git: You should have Git installed on your system. You can download it from Git Downloads.
  4. Emulator or Physical Device: You can use an Android emulator provided by Android Studio or connect a physical Android device to your computer.

Installation Steps

Follow these steps to set up and run the Multi-Vendor Ecommerce Flutter Project in Android Studio:

  1. Clone the Repository: Open a terminal window and run the following command to clone the project repository:
git clone https://github.com/hassanmahfuj/ShopSense-Flutter.git
  1. Open in Android Studio:
  • Launch Android Studio.
  • Click on File -> Open and navigate to the location where you cloned the project.
  • Select the ShopSense-Flutter folder and click Open.
  1. Install Dependencies:
  • Once the project is open in Android Studio, open the terminal within Android Studio or use your system's terminal.
  • Navigate to the project's root directory:
cd ShopSense-Flutter
  • Run the following command to get the project dependencies:
flutter pub get
  1. Run the Application:
  • If you're using an emulator, launch it using Android Studio AVD Manager.
  • If you're using a physical device, make sure it's connected to your computer via USB and USB debugging is enabled.
  • In Android Studio, click on the green Play button (or Shift + F10) to build and run the app.
  • Wait for the app to compile and install on the emulator or device.
  1. Explore the App:
  • Once the app is successfully installed, you can explore the Ecommerce Flutter Project on your emulator or device.
