Does this PCB have support for per-key LEDs?

First of all, big thank you for publishing these! I absolutely love the Ergodox keyboard and really appreciate you open-sourcing these.

I'm interested in building the USB-C version of this, but I'm also a total newbie on schematics and wiring. I can solder thru-hole components like the key switches and proton-c, but not much else.

I see you've used JLCPCB to order prototypes. Is the Ergodox-1.3.zip file the only file to upload to them as-is? And these are the parameters:

It looks like JLCPCB will also do SMT assembly. Do you have any recommendations on how to use that?

I'm uncertain if the included gerber files are for one board, and that board can be used for either the left hand or the right hand, and the only differences is which side I solder the components onto; or if there are two boards in there (different design above?).
