lines is free and open source program that counts all lines of files.

It also displays comment and white-space stripped line count, (strips c++ style comments, //, /**/)

It is released under GPL License.

The branch master contains last release code, for latest bugfixes, features see develop branch.

To build lines from the source, simply compile main.cpp and lines.cpp in your favourite compiler.

Ensure that lines.h is in the same directory as main.cpp and lines.cpp, also minimum c++17 is required for building it correctly.
