Hi,
I'm reading your solution (which is quite short, well documented, and in a cool language, so big up for that :D), and I just wanted to share some thoughts about a comment you made on line 114 :

There exist some counterexample to this assertion. For instance, 0b110 (dst) ^= 0b111 (src) transforms 0b110 into 0b001, which removes a 1.
However, it seems that in that type of cases, performing the opposite operation should give a better result (0b111 (dst) ^= 0b110 (src) transforms 0b111 into 0b001, which removes two 1s).

Any thoughts on this ?
