Follow these steps to install the project dependencies and set up your environment.
Make sure you have Node.js installed on your machine.
- Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/gustavojg/gustv.git
cd gustv
# using npm
npm i
# OR using Yarn
yarn install
# Pods installation
npx pod-install ios
# .env config
copy axample.env to .env
Let Metro Bundler run in its own terminal. Open a new terminal from the root of your React Native project. Run the following command to start your Android or iOS app:
# using npm
npm run start:android
# OR using Yarn
yarn start:android
# using npm
npm run start:ios
# OR using Yarn
yarn start:ios
# using npm
npm run start:ios-tablet
# OR using Yarn
yarn start:ios-tablet
If everything is set up correctly, you should see your new app running in your Android Emulator or iOS Simulator shortly provided you have set up your emulator/simulator correctly.
This is one way to run your app โ you can also run it directly from within Android Studio and Xcode respectively.
