lowlevelprogramming-university's Issues

Country sections or full translation?

This is list great, though I'd love to see links like http://gynvael.coldwind.pl/
The problem is, that Gynvael is doing tutorials both in English (RE, exploitation) and in Polish (OSDev, RE, exploitation). So is there a possibility to add Polish links section and add there some interesting links or should i translate everything and add it there?

Question about translation contribution

Hi,
Congrats for this project! I would translate this text to Brazilian Portuguese. So, do you recommend to create a new file, e.g., create a file named README-pt.md and send to you the pull request?

Grammar fix

Hi @gurugio I think there is a mistake in the second line:

If you does not start professional career yet, I would like to recommend you consider other fields carefully.

The bold part can be replaced with some thing like:

If you haven't started a professional career yet, I would like to recommend you consider other fields carefully.

Thanks for reviewing.

Persian translation

@gurugio Hello, What happened to this issue? I don't see a Persian translation. If there isn't any Persian translation, I've translated it to Persian, please let me know how to submit it.

Eudyptula Challenge

The Eudyptula challenge is currently not accepting new applicants, so perhaps

The Eudyptula Challenge

should be removed from the readme until the project starts up again? ๐Ÿง

Add "Saylor CS401: Operating Systems" course

Saylor is a free learning platform that has been accredited for a few of its course. Its operating systems course follows closely Berkeley's CS162 and includes a ton of additional content for better understanding. The course also has been reviewed by Brandman University, and imo, provides much more information than courses on Coursera, Udacity, etc.

As such, I thought it would be nice for the theory part to include a link to the course.

Here is the link in question.

Update PT-BR

Hey, I'm interesting in updating the README file of the Portuguese version and would like to know if that's ok.

FreeBSD kernel as reference

Hi,

Could it be feasible for the purpose of this page to link also BSD kernel programming and the related McKusick's and Neville-Neil's "The Design and Implementation of the FreeBSD operating system" book?

It's a rich reference and essential for getting into FreeBSD system programming (and the same key concepts the book give could be applied also on linux system programming).

(in the meanwhile I'm working on the italian translation of the page :) )

Regards,

Simone

it's just easy to be

There is no new thing in low-level programming like c and c++ it is like learning in one month easily for advanced. and after that, you can work on your project on a low-level programming language. so that's easy.
