Hi,

I do not understand why font family name includes Unicode? i.e. KalapiUnicode

All Open type fonts are based on Unicode, so no need to specify Unicode in its name.

In my humble opinion name should be "Kalapi Gujarati" or "Kalapi" . Please take a look at it.

If upstream is interested in going with same font name, release tarball name should be font-KalapiUnicode-version.tar.gz

Please let me know your view on same.

instead of running
$./generate.pe *.sfd

it better to have Makefile

ષ is narrow, I think it should be as wide in length as પ. I don't have experience with fonts otherwise I'd have issued a pull request.

There is a lot of thing yet not available in the README.md file. See https://github.com/kartikm/fonts-aakar for inspiration.

Tarball version is 0.1
Font version is 1.0

As per standard practices both should be same.

We can see that when we space between two characters, it looks more than usual Gujarati fonts. This need to fix.

• Helps to point out to people
• Helps people to discover
• brew demands that packages/projects need to have a website.

Font looks good with size > 11 pt, but below than that it looks broken in some characters. Some characters can't be read at all.
