capture location about camera HOT 4 CLOSED

Thanks for reporting this issue. We might need a link from where the apk for that app can be downloaded in order to debug this issue. Could you please share the apk (or maybe a link to it)?

APK link above. I added a screenshot of the backup folder selection screen. The app monitors "media" for pictures, when I took the screen shot to attach to this ticket, the photo app popped an alert that a new photo was detected and asked if I wanted to add the Screenshot folder to the backup list. I assume that is the trigger it uses to begin the backup.

other apps that may ask for access to captured media files are only given access to media folders such as DCIM. The camera app does not store its captured files in that location.

The app now uses the device's default storage with the concept of scoped storage. That change has indirectly resolved this issue. Please do let us know if we misunderstood this issue by any chance.

I just downloaded and installed the alpha build that hit the repo a couple of hours ago. Storage location is accessible with media access privilege, confirmed this update has resolved the issue. Aside from that non-visible change, the visible updates to the app and its control panel look very nice.
