Switch to Modules about grafana-operator HOT 5 CLOSED

Modules are already working there. The plan is to also get api support and some other features in too.

In general I agree, mod is the way forward at the time being. Just a little bit wary because Golang still experiments a lot with dependency management solutions (get, glide, dep and now modules).

It is because I have to install and understand a different dependency management solution. And I refuse to invest time in software (glide, dep) that will be "gone" in a year anyway.

You mean the golang community? I think modules is here to stay for years to come.

Latest operator sdk (https://github.com/operator-framework/operator-sdk/releases) dropped support for dep based project, so I guess it's good time for migration :)
