gpodder-bb10's Issues

BlackBerry10 UI Changes

thanks for supporting BlackBerry. I‘m sorry, but I find the latest UI changes to be rather strange. The toolbar is purple now and on top (as intended I guess), which doesn‘t really fit OS guidelines. I actually liked the „old" grey design better (also with the vellipsis instead of the stack icon). At least it looked similar to BlackBerry Cascades. Now it appears to look more like Android. But I guess a reworked, „Built for BlackBerry“ UI just like Sailfish is out of the question? Thanks for making the store build free by the way!

Episode Colour

I see that the colour of the episode changes based on its state.
Like....
Gray: deleted episodes
Black: Old episodes
Light-purple: New episodes
Dark-purple: downloaded episodes.

It is hard to differentiate between Dark-purple and Black colour.
Can you please choose some other colour to show the downloaded.
This way it is easy to spot the difference

Automatic Playlist

There is a crude implementation of a playlist in the home screen.
In the home screen from the menu, if i select "Filter Episodes", I can see all the episodes from all the podcasts which I can further filter to see only the downloaded episodes.

But it would be great to have a dedicated playlist with the following features.
-A playlist icon next to the "Play" button in the home screen.
-A keyboard shortcut to the playlist. e.g. "L" for Listen/Go to Playlist
-When an episode is downloaded from any podcast, the episode shall be added to the playlist by default.
-The playlist by default shall be sorted by episode's release-date(NOT DOWNLOADED-DATE), oldest episode first/top.
-When the episode is completely listened, it shall be removed from the playlist automatically.
-It should be possible to remove an episode from the playlist manually through a menu option, in-case i don't want to listen it now.(May be the episode is too long or not of my interest)
-If an episode is removed from the playlist, then it is not deleted rather just removed from the playlist.
-Ability to play all the episodes in the playlist.

Release the bar file

Hi. Thank you for the great piece of software that gpodder is! I wonder if you still have the bar file around and could share it?

Change the Episode status indicator

The status of the Episode(Downloaded, Not Downloaded) is shown using a thin vertical line.
This is not visible properly.
Is it possible to put up an image to show if the episode is downloaded.

In earlier versions, there used to be a folder image that indicated that the file is downloaded and it will not be streamed.
Can you please put the image back. This way it is very clear.

Note: I am not expecting any activity/event from the image. Just replace the vertical line with the folder image.

I like the way all the operation are hidden and appear when the episode is touched/Clicked.

Cannot Filter Episodes

From the home screen, When we select "Filter Episodes" menu option, I get to see all the episodes from all the podcasts.
But I further don't see the any other filter options now.
Earlier I could see a search icon(magnifying glass).

Can you also provide some insight on what exactly "Enqueue episodes in player does"

Device:
Blackberry Q10
OS: 10.2.1.3062

Thanks,
Vinay

dist.sh issue

can the location of bbndk be set in the command line other wise i will have to change my system around for the script to work. right now it looks for /opt/bbnkd and i have mine in ~/bbndk.

Podcast Details

By touching the episode, we can see 'Shownotes' icon that will display episode details.
Can you please include such a feature to see the podcast details.

Podcast details that make sense:
--Podcast Name
--Podcast Description
--Podcast URL (Please provide a button to copy the podcast URL to clipboard)

Utilize system copy/paste

Can't use copy paste, at least tried to paste the url to add, and it was not availbale(tried double tap and long tap)
