I tend to agree. I started with Ubuntu MATE as the base but ran into some instability. I will document how to turn Ubuntu's default desktop environment into XFCE somewhere.

I tested both default and gamer personas:
!) installation - went great, with some minor package download errors, I believe due to the unstable connection. I interrupted the connection several times to test if it would resume from last state and it happened fine. Restarted the notebook once, and the installation stopped - as anyone would expect.
Forgive me if my suggestion is irrational, but, would there be a way to, in case of such problems, as it is a very long download, that, when downloading, it skipped the already downloaded packages instead of overwriting them?

2. did some clicks here and there, and some applications took a little longer than expected. among them, were gimp, rocket chat, discord, slack, google music.

3. just another suggestion: wasn't it better for play on linux appear on games tab? don't know if is default xubunt config though

Don't know if matters, but, when installing gamer persona, got this:

Didn't even needed to type the command, after some seconds the download started for itself

Dani brought up that we can make a UI that allows users to click around on each persona to see what packages are to be installed (they can even unselect certain ones). This would be a more ideal way to run the system, esp on the first boot of Ubuntu.

Got this message while installing the clinician persona:

I changed the repo name after getting some feedback on the confusion of the name. In reality, all this solution is is a bunch of shell scripts that make a computer useful.

I chose to use a mono font for the word "Scripts" to be more computer-y.

Let me know if you have a better name :)
