ajour's Issues

Allow options for different formatting

This looks like a neat project. I already keep lots of notes using similar, but not identical formats. Any chance you'd consider adding some kind of configuration option?

For reference, here are the two styles I use:

Dated:

## 2015-01-20 15:54

Entry goes here.

Second entry without timestamp

## 2015-01-20 16:03

Third entry with timestamp, etc.

Records:

- 2015-01-20 | Entry goes here

I use the former for chunks of prose and the latter for single line entries. I don't mix the two types in the same file. "Dated" files generally go from top to bottom, but not always. "Record" files are always alpha sorted.

(Oh, and I know that the second type is not standard, but until CommonMark establishes a standard for tables, I'm sticking to it :)

Difference to Hexo

Well, I know, that Hexo is supposed to be static blog generator, but I think, it can fulfill ajour use case as well (well, I don't know how to append notes in Hexo, yet). I'm probably missing something, can you enlighten me, please?

Viewing Enhancement

I wonder if there is a short&simple way to view the journal once it gets long? something similar to the way man pages are viewed?

Anyway, regardless, great idea! I'm already using it!

Appending dropping first word.

Using -t The first word is being dropped. So "ajour -t Quick Brown Fox" results in "ajour.md << Brown Fox".

It looks like the issue is that the first word is part of argv.t and the rest is in argv._. If I do 'ajour -t test' or 'ajour -t "This is a test" it outputs Error: no message specified.

I am using windows and CYGWIN.
