purr's Issues
Hi!
First of all โ thank you for this project, it looks very cool. I wish I had it a few weeks earlier when I was adb logcat
-ing hundreds of time a day.
My request is to be able to brew install purr
and have it available right away :)
Expected Behavior
Logs to show and binding are working.
Actual Behavior
Logs didn't show up and the display is broken (see that ANSI escape sequence?):
Bindings also does nothing.
Steps to Reproduce the Problem
adb devices
to confirm the device is connected
adb logcat
to check if logcat is working
purr
and reproduce
Reproduction on other distros are being investigated.

Specifications
Version: Purr: 1.3.0, fzf: 0.40.0 (fb76893), zsh: 5.9
Platform: 6.3.11-1rodete1-amd64
Problem
This is a complex problem that has to do with the efficiency of what purr is doing on unique mode. There's a lot of solutions to this problem, but all are more complex than what is currently being done by quite a bit. I need to think about how I can fix this elegantly without compiling anything if possible. Massive multi-threading may be the solution.
Expected Behavior
Unique mode works on MacOS.
Actual Behavior
Unique mode is broken on MacOS
Steps to Reproduce the Problem
Press Ctrl-U
Press F4
Specifications
Version: Purr: 1.3.0, fzf: 0.40.0 (fb76893), zsh: 5.9
Platform: Apple M1 Pro, MacOS Ventura 13.5
Problem
Very likely is some mismatch between Linux and MacOS default system functions. Tail and head have been a problem before...
Similar to the Homebrew issue, it'd be nice if purr
was on apt.
Things that need to happen first:
Apt needs to have fzf
0.40.0
or higher released.
Roll the osc-52 script into the main purr script so we can have one script file.
