I wonder whatever it should also include administrative boundaries tags (StreetComplete is using OSM-derived country boundaries for variety of things - disabling/enabling quests, country specific interface)...

v6 has some new quests https://github.com/westnordost/StreetComplete/releases/tag/v6.0-beta1 and I guess also older versions are not yet included here.

Also, check whether the Opening Hours quest query uses recycling=centre or recycling_type=centre.

While a tag (e.g. access=private) being marked as an exclusion seems fine, for a key (e.g. access) it seems a bit less clear.

For example, in the Parking Access quest, the query includes (!access or access=unknown). It seems odd in the taginfo table to claim to exclude values of access while including one particular value.

Unfortunately, the antonyms of "required" and "mandatory" tend toward "optional". I toyed with "not present" but that didn't seem quite right.

Would "absent" or something else be more sensible? Thoughts?

In such a case you can use this repo, as a submodule. The file names are the original ones as in StreetComplete.

But generally I also wonder where on taginfo this might be shown, is not only the icon of the application shown?

For the cycleway quest, share_busway is misspelled.

I would also add a license file for a clarity.

I would add also spreadsheet that was used to make json file to make future updates easier.

I assume the data currently in here is entirely generated by manual updates?

Obviously that requires quite a lot of work your end, which is presumably why it's now somewhat out of date. I've been roughly playing around with some automatic generation, but I just thought I'd check you don't have a script already before I go too far?

In streetcomplete/StreetComplete@277815e#diff-b3a17b0a0a883ad82058bbe2dd23add2, the junction=roundabout portion of the query (among others) was moved from AddCycleway.java to AddCyclewayForm.java.

Should it have a "Cycleway quest query" or "Cycleway quest query (exclusion)" or (something else) entry in this repository's taginfo.json?

You can archive this repository, to mark it as unmaintained. People then cannot submit PRs and there is a big warning that this is archived.
Remember to add a note to the Readme before to explain that it is unmaintained, and – if you think this is useful – why and probably mention alternatives.

I don't understand what the CSV is for. Is this still maintained? Could you explain (in the readme) to which file things should be contributed?

The roof:shape values are missing from the Roof Shape quest fill. See https://github.com/westnordost/StreetComplete/blob/master/app/src/main/java/de/westnordost/streetcomplete/quests/roof_shape/AddRoofShapeForm.java

The most important thing for a user or potential contributor here may be, how that (what they might contribute) look in the end.
