A model for farms, which will be attached to each user, and have products attached to them

We need a way for users to contact each other on the platform, could be real-time or otherwise, but eventually realtime

On the user profile page, hide the follow buttons if the logged in user is on their own profile page.

Farm related classifieds on the platform

A way for each farmer to post something, or add an update that appears on their wall, image and text. We can discuss this with time.

We need a Facebook-wall like section as well as a user profile for each user. The wall is for the user's updates and activities across the site. We can decide what to show on the wall later, can be stuff like has harvested, opened another farm, added another borehole, has started a new breed, or now plants corn as well.

The product categories seem endless, they may need to be moved to their own model, and attached to products. It might be a good idea to attach categories to a farm, as a way to be able to specify what the farm produces. So if its a vegetable farm, or a goats farm or dairy milk etc

We need to have a proper profile for each user account - will decide on the fields as time goes

Vendors must have products, almost the same as farm products, but with some differences. Whether to duplicate the product model or not...

For example, P50 per 100g pack, or 200g pack etc for products. The quantity can be mass, or number, or something. The fields need to be flexible.

We need to set up social auth for Facebook, Twitter and Google

We need a way for users to be able to follow each other so they can see updates from other users. For example, FamousFarmer can be followed, and when he harvest/has stuff to sell his followers get to know about it
