packages's Issues

fail to PR for new pkg

Hi, I'm failing to PR a new pkg proposal:

Run yamllint --format standard -c ./assets/ci/yamllint.yaml packages
packages/mccabe-thiele.yaml
1:4 error wrong new line character: expected \n (new-lines)

However no explicit, it seems to me that the problem is in line 1 column 4, what's just after the introductory "---":

---
layout: "package"
permalink: "mccabe-thiele/"

What's wrong? Any tips?

Feature request - ability to search for individual function names within packages.

I know this is a non-trivial request, and may or may not already be part of the goal for this project, but I thought I'd open this as an issue to have a proper place for it.

Essentially, if this page is going to partly replace what octave-forge was used for (in terms of acting as a repository of packages), it would be useful to be able to search "inside" packages, for the presence (and possibly documentation) of provided functions.

One way this could be achieved is if package maintainers were asked to provide a list of provided functions (preferably with a link to documentation) with their packages, that could then be searched from the main search interface.

fits package has wrong info

Looks like the description in the fits package is using the description info from divand.

On octave forge, the fits pkg description is:

The Octave-FITS package provides functions for reading, and writing FITS (Flexible Image Transport System) files. This package uses the libcfitsio library.
