Will this work with all hardware versions? They released a 'new' one in 2020, darker gray color. Is the patch compatible? I have no unit yet and want to purchase one that I can enhance to this patch.

Thanks for getting this set up! I got the patch to apply successfully (and a backup was made) to my unit. The logfile reported "dgf: OK".

After the patch, I no longer have any departure noise at all - the beep that was there is gone, but none of the 'correct' melodies play.

I attempted to run the patch again but got the expected result of it erroring out telling me my checksum mismatched.

I hacked on the script a little to manually copy the files a second time but I still have no departure sounds. (See the attached log.txt for directory listings where the chimes should go.)

I'd appreciate any help in figuring out the issue. If you'd like my backup (MD5 57ac39e3408887006108a17e20291c3f), let me know.

Can these two mods be used together?

I have a Densha de Go P&P v1.13, and have tried:

• 2 USB Memory sticks, both with at least 2GB free
• 1 and 2 partitions - only or first partition formatted FAT32
• partition table style GPT and MBR
• 3 different OTG Hubs
• with/without HDMI cabler inserted into DDG

I've never seen the door light come in. For many of the above permutations the game just continues to launch. For one of the hubs the screen goes black after the first 3 screens of license text in Japanese; but the script doesn't seem to chain load (since I don't see the DDG door light)

One thing is that I was preparing the USB stick(s) with Windows diskpart...

Any other clues?

On Final, on trains with a musical horn, pressing and releasing the horn button plays the whole length of the musical horn. On the patched Plug and Play, however, releasing the button stops the musical horn, so it's necessary to hold the button to hear it completely. Probably due to a minor code change when these horns were replaced with a standard one.

This is noticeable, for example, on the Chūō line, diagram 10.
