I've noticed that while using this extension in more complex projects, that it sometimes gets confused about where in the project hierarchy it is and what mode it is running in.

I'm thinking that it should be more flexible about running at any level of the hierarchy.

I also think the rules should be simplified.

• If it is in a dart file with sub-directories, it updates this directory's exports.
• If it is in a dart file with a parent directory (other than "/lib"), it (also) updates its parent's exports.

I may need to think about this more, so it is an idea at present.
