A tool to calculate Hazard Ratios in Cox models with interaction terms and splined interaction terms
Hi there, question from an ignorant: what is the correct pvalue of a coxph/cph model with an interaction term? Is there a way to get it with the interactionRCS package?
Thanks!
How do you specify a model to plot a graph with more than one line for a factor variable with more than two levels as a function for another continuous variable?
Thanks,
Daniel
The installation worked fine in this environment
sessionInfo()
R version 4.0.2 (2020-06-22)
Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin17.0 (64-bit)
Running under: macOS 10.16
But I encountered the below error when trying to install the package elsewhere
devtools::install_github("https://github.com/gmelloni/interactionRCS.git")
Error: Failed to install 'unknown package' from GitHub:
HTTP error 404.
No commit found for the ref master
sessionInfo()
R version 3.6.2 (2019-12-12)
Platform: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (64-bit)
Running under: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)
The latter issue was resolved by using install_git() instead of install_github()
devtools::install_git("https://github.com/gmelloni/interactionRCS.git")
Not sure why - posting this in case it is useful for anyone else
Hello!
I came across your lovely package, and while validating that some ideas were compatible, I had difficulty reproducing the spline representation in your vignette and code. I am not sure how you got the squared denominator. I get (k_3 - k_1)
.
However, removing the square on the denominator produces implausible figures, so I trust that your derivation is correct. Could you please share how you arrived at this?
I've attached a calculation to this ticket for ease of comprehension. Please let me know what I am overlooking.
Additionally, there is a small typo in the vignette for sp(z)
. The final term should match that in sp(z*x)
, and both are missing a subscript +
.
