A plugin to execute gcode commands when the print bed cools to a certain temperature
Could you add a parser that would recognize something such as [RepeatLastPrint] or [Print <Filename>
}? Really fancy would allow a comma-delineated list of a queue of prints (filenames) :).
The reason I ask is that I am in the process of printing hundreds of custom shaped Christmas Light bulb covers in PETG. Unfortunately, because of the file, I have to use Spiral (vase) mode, so can only print one at a time, at a 67 minutes each, plus cooldown time. I can successfully knock the print off of the bed with the carriage (and thus can do it with gcode), but I have to manually restart the print.
If I could automatically restart the print after the gcode knocking the previous model off of the bed (after it cools), I could save a lot of time and effort, and allow the production to be continuous, even overnight.
i.e, [pseudocode]:
wait for bed to cool
@40° {
gcode to move to proper position
gcode to knock finished print off of bed
start printing (<lastfile>|<filename>)
}
Before I say it's not working and we go back and forth with logs, lemmie clarify that when I installed, set up (35c), rebooted and heated the bed to 75 and then turned the heaters off, nothing happened.
Is this triggered by ANY drop below the set temp or ONLY if a print was performed?
Was thinking it would be nice to have Start/End times of operation, so as not to wake the house when a print completes at 3am with my Star Wars diddy.
Is it possible to optionally implement the execution of any commands?
I would like to send a CURL with it.
I wasn't sure that I needed to copy the gcode into the window. Maybe updating the readme file with code that could be copied and pasted into the settings once installed.
Thanks for making this plug in.
I'd like to use the plugin to alert me already BEFORE the print about the heat bed having reached the desired temperature, so I can start the print.
This is a plugin I have been wanting forever as my printbite self releases at a lower temp.
Like most installs mine is still on python 2.7 though. Any chance of dual compatibility?
Just what I was looking for. Unfortunately the plugin does not recognize a printer when using Klipper as firmware.
Hi there. This plugin is exactly what I need but when I set the temperature to 50C and then set the code to call another plugin, it's not working (@WEMOOFF 192.168.86.50)
It's funny that it's working properly when I click on "Test Now", so I don't know why it's not triggering when it goes below 50C. Any clue?
Unfortunately, it seems that running GCode no longer works after the last update of Octoprint. Also when pressing "Test" nothing happens. It takes a very long time until you get a feedback here.
Hi Im not sure if im doing something wrong but I cant seem to get it to issue M101 once the threshold temp is reached /passed.
Can you help?
