mmm-plexnowplaying's Issues

Workaround: connect to Plex servers with HTTP disabled

I have confirmed that everything works with HTTP but not with HTTPS. Unsure why but for those who are also having this issues you can deploy Stunnel https://www.stunnel.org/.

Stunnel Config
[plex-MM-proxy]
client = yes
; IP address and the port you want to use for your magic Mirror. This is only to be used for Magic Mirror not for Main Library Sharing.
accept = 192.168.1.50:32444
connect = 127.0.0.1:32400

@glitch452 Thank you for creating this project I'm Excited to finally have this running with a little more color then the TAUTULLI

Plex - http protocol

Hi, please work it with HTTP only or not? thanks Mirek
plex

According to the Plex logo, Raspberry will connect and send the request and receive a response. But nothing appears on the mirror.

Module Breaks with MM Update to 2.19.0

I believe this has to do with a change in Electron that has been present since 2.17.0 but I am not certain.

Everything was working as expected, updated MM, everything loads back as expected with the exception of MMM-PlexNowPlaying

MagicMirror2 not loading with module

I added the module to my MagicMirror and when I rebooted it shows me an error message stating I have an error in my config file or I don't have a config file. I tried changing the settings from https to http and I tried both the DNS and IP address for my server, but MM2 still opened with the error. The only thing that fixed it was to completely remove the module from the config file. Any thoughts? This module looks great and I would love to use it!

Only other thing I can think of is after I downloaded the module into my modules folder I did an npm install command while in the directory MMM=PlexNowPlaying, which is what most modules have in their readme file. Noticed after your readme didn't say to do that. Help! Thank you!

disable trailing separator bar

Is there the ability to disable the trailing separator bar below the progress bar for the last item playing in the list? This looks a bit odd to me.

Live TV poster not showing

I am having an issue with the module not showing the poster image for users who are watching Live TV. It just shows a broken image placeholder. Is there any way to get the poster displayed for Live TV? I also tried setting the showPoster in config to false but that doesn't seem to do anything because posters for any content type were still displayed. Thanks for any help!

permanent Plex token

In the Plex docs it's mentioned that the xToken is only temporary. How long is it valid? Do I need to update it regularly or is this done by the module? How can I obtain a permanent token?

No Data

I am only getting

PLEX: NOW PLAYING
Plex Data ....

Maybe Im missing something ?
