Make all examples compile

I generally copy these recipes and paste them on the online repl to figure out what I need. Some of them currently don't compile like:

external f : 'self -> 'ret = "" [@@bs.get]
let ret = f self

would you be open to a PR that replaces 'self with string or int and make each recipe self-contained so all the examples compile straight away? Ideally, with examples that are meaningful from the "real world" :) I'm not sure if that breaks the original purpose of this cheatsheet.

For example, for bs.get:
