Hello, I am the other A9336G mutation from GenBank. I saw your question about a new subgroup to Haplogroup T2b30. Was wondering about communicating? I am a novice at this DNA stuff but very interested in finding more about this mutation and where it may lead. I had a full Mtdna done and the farthest I can get my female line back to is Tabor, Cech. mid 1800's. GitHub is new to me and not sure how to navigate.

Anna L. [Stecher??] https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=31157352
-> daughter of Antonin Stecher and Anna Kotrla (https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=37735911) ???
-> not if the birthdate on tombstone is correct, just 5 months after another child of them

Filip first wedding to another Alzbeta. http://actapublica.eu/matriky/brno/prohlizec/5361/?strana=135
No kids found. Death of this Alzbeta not found either.
Death record of AH says born 1772. Unlikely to be her.
No birth of AH and no wedding is consistent with location different than VnV.
Pre-tolerance VnV scanned for Hudec, no success...
During the current sale, ask the FTDNA matches
https://www.familytreedna.com/my/y-dna-matches
to try testing BigY if they are interested and can afford.
Hello,
you are one of my closest STR matches on FTDNA - my kit# is B161787.
While STR testing is interesting and can reveal a lot, there is now a more powerful technique of SNP testing (see https://isogg.org/wiki/Y-SNP_testing for more details).
I am personally CTS10228+, S17250+, Y4882+ and Y16473+ (see https://www.yfull.com/tree/I-S17250/ for some details). I am naturally most interested in uncovering further structure in Y16473 (which many of my close matches will be part of), I am also glad for any additional testing revealing our early Slavic ancestors.
Currently the ultimate SNP test - Big Y (https://isogg.org/wiki/Y-DNA_next_generation_sequencing) for the lowest price ever - 395$. If you ever considered this ultimate test to reveal your paternal lineage up to a 100 year precision, now is the time :)
I have also leveraged a recent sale and I am now eagerly awaiting my own BigY results.
I am a member of the I2a project https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/i-2a-hap-group/activity-feed - if you have not already, I encourage you to join! The admins are extremely helpful in aiding our research.
My own Krchak ancestors are rumoured to come to Moravia (Javornik, Hruba Vrbka) from Slovakia -- and this is definitely not disproved by the DNA, as many of my closest matches are Slovak and Hungarian, but also Polish. More testing can definitely reveal more information.
Hope you will consider further testing at FTDNA, but regardless of that, I am glad to connect and help with your own research.
Kind regards,
paternal Slavic cousin Kuba

So your sequence has the distinctive motif 'T2b-A9336G';
and I believe there is just one other sequence on the GenBank database with this. Have you seen it ?

'Mannis' usually want to see 3 separate sequences before he gives a new label.
But A9336G is a distinctive coding area mutation:
A9336G - mutation in peptide COX3 (MT-CO3) non-synonymous 'M44V' . . . . . Defines Haplogroup HV2
and 'Mannis' may be quite happy to settle for just the 2 sequences in this case.
So why not contact him and suggest he might give 'T2b-A9336G' its own label in his next revision - due in February 2018.
Do a similar depth research for A.S. (except the P.I. branch) as for her husband FK.
