What is this?

here i create a Java project template with Maven, a build automation tool, and MongoDB Docker setup.

Maven is use to build automation tool used primarily for managing dependencies and building Java-based projects. Maven simplifies the build process by providing a standard way to build, package, and deploy applications
some of the main purposes for which Maven is used in Java:

1. Dependency management
2. Build automation
3. Project structure
4. Integration with other tools

MongoDB
some of the main purposes of mongodb:

1. Flexible data model
2. Scalability
3. High availability
4. Performance
5. Easy integration with other tools

I utilized two Docker images to create a MongoDB database, and these images are launched automatically at the beginning by a command defined in the .gitpod.yml file.

1. mongo :- it is the actual database image file
2. mongo-express :- it helps to interact database gui through web browser

Typically, when working with other software applications, it is necessary to manually pull and run the required images to begin working with them. However, in this particular case, we have preconfigured the necessary Docker images in the .gitpod.yml file, which will be automatically run and started upon initialization. Furthermore, the images will be built using the maven command line tool.

So in this tutorial you'll create Gitpod workspace with your favourite Linux distributions from Debian to Arch with most development tools that's present in gitpod/workspace-full

Additional context/comments

Well, however there's still a problem:

• SSH might not work as expected, means desktop version of VSCode, and IDEs can't connect to the workspace
• Lack of version manager (ex. nvm)

However the rest (and also Docker) is work as expected and even have custom bash prompt

After that, toggling all of your servers and services is as easy as
