gelemental's Issues

Newest DEB

Can you publish the latest Debian file for Gelemental?

Dark theme is not applied and color by on Debian KDE

I changed the theme to breeze dark, but the program stays breeze even after I restart
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 10
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5
Qt Version: 5.11.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0
Kernel Version: 4.19.0-17-amd64
OS Type: 64-bit

Periodic table in kde

Colors do not appear properly on Openbox

Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Installed from: Ubuntu Default Packages "jammy"
Window Manager or Desktop Environment: Openbox (WM)

I am not sure what my GTK (formerly Gtk+) or Qt version is, though I have multiple versions installed on my single system:

  • Gtk+2.0
  • Gtk+3.0
  • GTK 4.0
  • Qt 5
  • Qt 6

Gelemental should show the element's oxidation states in table view by default.

Gelemental is a very useful application, providing a lot of useful info about elements. Including very useful oxidation states. Many elements have more than one, so they're not obvious from the elements position. Oxidation states is something a chemist needs often when figuring out chemical reaction and in my case (Czech language) names of compounds from their structure.
This is the reason traditional paper chemistry tables have this data.
So I propose adding this data to the main view, to every element for faster access.
I'm currently working on a pull request.

Buttons are not colored within groups on Linux Mint 20.2

By using deafult buttons for the elements, desktop controls themes like Mint-y will affect the buttons colorization and make the program less useful.
Attached is screenshot of what the program looks on my system vs what it should look like.

Where do I find the installed package after I install from source?

So I downloaded all github code, ran
./configure
make
sudo make install

Where is it?

Searching for it in Mint Menu doesn't work. It is not listed in programs list.
