Currently the bell rings with whatever is the media playback volume. Instead, a
config setting should be used to set the volume for the bell, without affecting
the general playback volume.

Currently the bell will ring even if the phone is muted.
Instead if the phone is mute or on vibrate, the default should be that the bell
is also muted. This can be made configurable.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set mindfulness bell to occur every 5 minutes
2. Start recording a whatsapp voice-message and wait for the bell to sound
3. When the bell sounds, the bell will be displayed and the voice message will
be deleted.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Mindfulness Bell should detect that you're recording a whatsapp voice message,
or at least holding down your finger on the screen, and wait until 10 seconds
after you release your finger before it sounds the bell.
Version 2.4.0
OS: CM-11-20150125 Android 4.4.4
Please provide any additional information below.
I've disabled showing the bell. Hopefully that will resolve the problem of the
voice message being deleted.

Hi,
The mindfulness bell proposes an update and now asks for more "rights" on my
phone : Reading the ID and phone number of my phone.
WHY ?
I don't believe that a mindfullness bell should snoop on my personal details,
so I have refused the update until this excessive rights request is removed.
Best regards.

The current way of scheduling the bell means that it ends up coming at
specific, predictable times. It would be better to have really random timing.

Returning to settings, sometimes the start and end times are shown as 00:00.
Possible solution might be to move the time update from persistent settings
form onStart to onReturn or whatever it's called.

If the mind bell is set to "on", and the phone is restarted, the user must
manually restart the application, go to settings and leave them again.
Instead, the update method should be automatically called once every time
when the phone starts, so that the user's persistent settings are applied.

If the mind bell alarm is triggered, the mind bell rings even if a phone
call is ongoing.
The mind bell should
1. detect whether the user is currently on the phone (maybe also detect
whether another audio service is currently active, such as music playback?);
2. either cancel the bell or wait until the phone call is finished before
ringing the bell.

Want the playing music to pause, the bell to ring, the music to continue.
Instead, the bell plays ON TOP OF the music.

1. listen to audio on your phone at different volume than bell setting
2. wait until bell chimes
3. afterward your audio resumes playing at changed volume (the bell's volume
level)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
bell chimes at selected volume, audio resumes unaffected at previous volume

current version on android - btw, are you also releasing versions for other

the position of the bell is not good. It overlaps the semi-transparent text.
Instead, the text should take the amount of space that it takes, and the bell
should use the rest, above the text.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.playing any audio recording, Whatsapp, mp3, music,
2.mind bell comes on
3. original audio file keeps playing while mindbell rings. you lose about 30
seconds worth of audio content. That's ok for music, not ok for Whatsapp
messages, voice notes, or podcasts, audiobooks etc....
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
when the Mindbell plays: ALL recorded audio is paused, so that when the bell
stops, NO audio content is lost.
I.E. keep going where you left off.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android, Samsung, Tab2, and Tab4, both have some issues.
IT's not OS related ,its the way mindbell is written: it would be good to pause
other audio streams while playing mindbell,
I like using mindbell every 10 mins or even 5.
so if I listen to a lecture, I lose 30 secs or so every 5 mins,
that's a lot.
