Bringing Loteria online. Family members will login and play Loteria. Each joined member may choose to create a new lobby and have additional players join. Players choose from a set of Loteria bingo cards and begin with a shuffled deck of cards. First player to get "Loteria!" will win the reward.

Loteria

Description

An application using the MERN stack to provide an online Loteria gaming experience. Loteria is the Latino version of bingo where a group of players gather around a table and draw cards reading them out loud. Players must check to see if drawn card matches their respective playing cards. If a player matches read cards to their gaming card and they connect horizontally, vertically, or diagonally in a set of four or pre-chosen pattern that players wins.

Instruction/Use

Instal dependencies by running npm i Once dependencies have been installed run using npm start

Alternatively game will be hosted on Heroku

Creating an account

Visit deployed application (TBD) and login or sign up if returning user. Game will allow multiple users to log onto application to start game (min of two users).

Add tabla selection functionality to new players

After the addition of a new player

user will select their respective playing tabla
once user selects playing tabla
add tabla to their profile game card

Fix Rapid Draws

When user clicks deck
One card will be drawn
One card will be set after flip
Currently if user clicks multiple times, all cards are set without styling applied first

Add create player functionality

When user inputs player's name
& clicks add; It will create a new player
Newly created players will have an option to select a game card
When players select playing card
Player will be assigned new game card

Create Game Cards

Users shall be able to choose between game cards with randomly placed game images
Game cards will allow users to place a token on matching image
Standard game
If the user connects 4 matching images, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, they win.
