phantomopenemoji's Issues

Is unicode supported?

I couldn't find this anywhere in the docs.

Does the gem support rendering unicode emoji? (such as the ones documented here http://code.iamcal.com/php/emoji/ specifically under 'Unified' which is also what iOS appears to use) That would be really useful if it did. Maybe if it doesn't, I might look into adding that feature.

I'm interested in using these for various things, but would be nice to get a quick overview of what is included. Something like Emoji Cheat Sheet would be great. Thanks!

cat_face.svg has links to external JPG images

This SVG file includes several elements whose xlink:href attribute points to a separate .jpg file (which is not available); e.g. at line 34.

Please replace these with the use of embedded data: URLs, as in other SVG files in the POE collection.

AndroidEmojiInput library!

Just wanted to let you know that I've created a general purpose Emoji input and display system for Android that even supports add-on APK emoji and sticker packs. I was inspired by your project, and even support the json format you have defined.

You can find the library here:
https://github.com/n8fr8/AndroidEmojiInput/

and see the first public screen shot of it in action here:

That's all - keep up the good work, and let us know if you have any ideas or questions!

Missing images for a few index.json entries

Some of the entries in the index.json file are spurious. They have no corresponding images in any of the folders.
