@PGimenez OK, that's not how it's meant to work. I also forgot, we should document this.

It's as follows:

1/ with EARLYBIND=true you can't run up() -- you need to run up(...; server=<earlybound_server>).
2/ in order to automatically run up(...) the right way, use both EARLYBIND=true AND STARTSERVER=true in ENV.

I'm tagging a new version now to automatically start the server if EARLYBIND is true. It's technically breaking but I'm hoping this is what everybody expects and nobody will complain. So starting in v5.19, if EARLYBIND=true, STARTSERVER=true won't be needed anymore. If, however, STARTSERVER=false, we won't start the server automatically, even if EARLYBIND=true.
