Zabbix is about to eol 3.2 so we need to add support for 3.4. If we still have any code that is there just to support an eol'ed version of Zabbix we should remove it.

After many years away from Zabbix, it seems it is back in my life. I need to overhaul this module to make it follow current best practices, work with current and upcoming versions of Puppet, and to reflect that the current version of Zabbix is 6.4.... which has changed a lot since I last worked on this.

While working on #8 I found that most of the repos for these os's have gone away. Based on looking at https://software.opensuse.org/package/zabbix there are next to no options for Zabbix 3.2. When looking at Zabbix 3.4 the best option seems to be home:pclo:monitoring which has builds for SLES 11 & 12 and openSUSE 42.2 and 43.3. No one seemed to have much of anything for 42.1 anymore either. I propose we:

• move to home:pclo:monitoring for Zabbix 3.4 SUSE / openSUSE repos
• drop repo support for 42.1 and
• drop repo management support for Zabbix versions older than 3.4 on the Suse family

Hey - are there any plans to release a new version of this module onto the PuppetForge? Right now the latest version on the forge is 2.3.0, and the latest tag in git in 2.4.1 - just wondering if I need to use the URL rather than the Forge version?
