Its Rushmead here and i have a Proposal for a Better System to Get each Mods Information. I Propose that We use MySQL Databases instead (I don't mind Hosting) and then "i" or "we" Would create a Admin Panel for this Database allowing us and possibly mod authors to add there mods and possibly create a API so mod authors can automatically add it when a new Version is released. This is a much Easier system than Using PR's and txt files.

CurseForge allows for a link that will always point to the latest version of a mod - for example, steamcraft2's is http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/224017-steamcraft-2-beta-2-fluxian-storm/files/latest Thereby I'd like to suggest adding the ability for mod authors like me to define a latest version link that the mod will default to when the specific version link cannot be found. Or at least, some other form of better integration with curse - I'd rather not add another task to my update todo list.
