The Web Speech API is a Javacript Specification which enables the development of Web Pages with speech Recognition and Speech Synteshis capabilities. This application is an Angular JS implementation of a self presenting presentation on the Speech API. This introduction will provide the information needed to get started speech enabling your own websites.

The Web Speech API originated with Google and was adopted and finalized as a standard by W3C in October of 2012.

There are 3 major components of the spec, Voice Recognistion Speech Synthesis and Grammars.
