As this project seems dead, and that it was a very important plugin for me, I created a new repo based on this one and fixed the problems.

@gedion If you plan to continue to manage this plugin, I'll be happy to make a pull-request with the changes I've made and let you run it.

On my linux machine (CentOS) I've installed etherpad and then the tables plugin.

All went fine; I see the Table icon.
When I press on the button nothing happens and FF throws this error:

Error: Permission denied to access property 'templatesMenu' in static/js/require-kernel.js

Can you help me on this one?

The ep_tables plugin breaks timeslider immediately.

This has to do with an ep_tables related anonymous function which is incorrectly loaded, I saw this in the Firebug console.

I am currently trying to find the timeslider bug and came accross this problem.

to reproduce:

1. create a 2x2 table
2. use mouse to select from the end of the table, to the first element of the table. the cursor should remain inside the table
3. hit backspace

now you get the table removed, but replaced with the following content:

My browser is complaining that some scripts were blocked, as they would be insecure to load, while accessing my pad via HTPPS.

(e.g http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.9.0/build/dragdrop/dragdrop-min.js)

And indeed yahoo seems not to offer access to their apis via https (WTF?!?). Maybe we should use a local copy of what we are loading remotely?

The first click opens the table menu (pictured):

However, a second click should close that again, but this does not work.

Please repair it.

On clicking of the Table button, the menu shows up, however, clicking around in the document while the menu is open does not close the menu, nor does clicking on the button, you have to mousedown, drag off the button, then release.

I have the impression that your plugin doesn't work with the last version (v1.2.9) of etherpad-lite.

It was working fine with an older version (v1.2.1).

Now, when I create a new table, all I have is:

No Errors found in the logs.

Export doesnt work with the table plugin, although tables exist in HTML, tex, etc .

On my browser, tables look like this - the border lines on table rows and cells do not collapse:

I already tried to apply a patch, but I did not succeed in short time.

I am working on these at the moment.

• Chrome: table button does not react at all

First table cell has a blue border. This is strange
