Since bazzite does not come with stow, powershell, etc. another approach needs to be made to have things stored locally, like the current powershell-local approach or utilize brew (which I do not prefer to use).

To allow the following use:

• devenv start the default based on the host
• devenv fedora to explicitly start a fedora system

Due to line:

there is a single powerline-daemon process running that is shared between instances on WSL2. Therefore, the hostname and user information on one is correct, while all the others are wrong.

Either use powerline-daemon -k or disable the line. I am looking into a better solution.

With some minor changes this easily runs on the Dreamhost Shared environment.

Use the following targets

• zsh
• tmux
• vim
• powerline
• powerline-local
• ranger

Note: since there is no stow you can make the symlinks easily with mc and the Ctrl+X S keystroke. Will look into an alternative.

Tmux

change the comment to use the local powerline install

Ranger

$ pip install --user wheel
$ pip install --user ranger-fm
$ chmod +x ~/.local/bin/ranger

Simpler approach... just run system_install.sh from install.sh when it is a Fedora system

the https://github.com/gbraad-devenv/ubi image does not come with screen (and no way to properly install), so modifying the start-tailproxy script to handle the situation when no screen can be found.

While after start you can easily use:

# tailproxy up --login-server=https://headscale.[redacted].ts.net

it would be nice to pick up with either environment variables or parameter.

Note: otherwise a --force-reauth is necessary.

• installation of powerline (currently included as a library; python2.7)
  • Fedora offers a package
