Hi @juexing. i'm not that knowlegable myself on PDF security. something i would probably put my hands on sometime, but don't hold your breath. you are most welcome to use the existing library and add pkcs7 signature on top of it. You will probably want to review how to implement this in the PDF specification. i have it somewhere in my own stash - here.

I have seen mupdf source, but did not see how much. It has a pkcs7 signature used to protect the PDF document, I used C to complete the RSA pkcs7 implementation module, but I am now the main problem is how to insert the pkcs7 data into the pdf.
I think we can work together under the study, if completed, I will contribute to the C code.
