todos's Issues

Find a way to exclude specific files/symbols from import suggestions

Specifically from these paths at least:

  • /frontend/src/app
  • /frontend/src/codegen/output

app folder only consumes symbols from the rest of the code, none of the exported symbols in there are used outside of it.
Symbols in output folder are seldom needed for specific modules which know how to look them up anyway.

There is an option in VSCode, but using a similar value as in provided example doesn't seem to work:

  • /frontend/.vscode/settings.json
    "typescript.preferences.autoImportFileExcludePatterns": [
        "**/src/app"
     ],

Neither does including "typescript.preferences.autoImportFileExcludePatterns": ["**/frontend/src/app"] within workspace file.

move `localStorage` retrieval and validation code to the `#browser` folder

Something causes the issues in dev server both for tasks and places.
Tasks choke on migration logic and throw errors which I assume related to server/client bundle mismatch. I.E. task lists work fine on client transitions but throw on server navigation and hot reload (which I assume triggers server rebundling).
Places leak memory on hot reload and can only be fixed by killing the offending tab in the process explorer.
