Received an email about one of the dependencies potentially being a security vulnerability.
Here is the message:
"Some of the dependencies defined in package-lock.json have known security vulnerabilities and should be updated.

Known high severity security vulnerability detected in cryptiles < 4.1.2defined in package-lock.json.
--package-lock.json update suggested: cryptiles ~> 4.1.2."

I realized after a message from Arthur that this repository doesn't have any instructions for new contributors on getting started. I will add some, perhaps in the form of a CONTRIBUTING.md, or just as a section in the README.md.

Hi,

I just showed up to the git meeting earlier today (17 Sep at 18:00 est), but I have had no involvement with ACM before today. I want to join the slack, but when I click on the link, I get 404 error message. The same happens for the github link (although, I obviously found that). I think someone changed the code a bit and now it's trying to stick in the root in front of the hyperlink instead of go to a completely different url. This is the website in question.

For clarity, the slack and github links seem to--respectively--redirect to:
