Hi! I realize that you started before me, but I've created my own dynect node library:

I'm new to javascript and am coming from the ruby world, so I found it very difficult to read a straight-up javascript library, and am instead trying to approach my library by writing it in coffescript (in src/) and then auto-generating the javascript (into lib/). Aside from this, I'm modelling many of the architectural decisions after this repo:

I must admit that I'm not quite sure what I'm missing by avoiding the use of async. Frankly, I think its usage was the part that was particularly throwing me for a loop :)

Anyhow, feel free to let me know your thoughts. I'm happy to reconsider or join forces somehow, if that makes sense. I did spend a day trying to use your library, but was getting all sorts of errors, and wasn't quite sure how to debug the things that I didn't understand in js.
