I have a question regarding this line https://github.com/freeman-lab/metamers/blob/master/windows/mkMasksRadial.m#L44

Lower limit is determined using centerRad which is degrees in logarithmic space
Where as upper limit is determined by log2(rVals(:)) which is pixel distance in logarithmic space.

Why is lower limit determined using degrees and upper limit is determined using pixel distance? Should they not be in the same domain?

I guess you are specifying fovea radius using this, but I am not able to understand the underlying conversion.
