sensors_cmdline's Introduction

sensors_cmdline

Read thermal/temperature sensors, voltage meters, and current meters on M1 and iPhone

Converted my old code to use Foundation class instead of Core Foundation type and used command line interface, which is supposed to be more UNIX friendly.

sensors_cmdline's Issues

Is it possible to implement M1 temp sensor in Swift?

Sorry, I don't really understand objective-C, so the main code file looks like "gibberish" to me. But is it possible to rewrite all the logic and get M1 macbook's CPU temperature in Swift language? Any resources you can point me to?

All GPU, ISP and ANE temps repeatedly show 30℃ sometimes

Environment: macOS 13.4.1, GNU Make 3.81 (built for i386-apple-darwin11.3.0)

ANE MTR Temp Sensor1 (°C), GPU MTR Temp Sensor1 (°C), GPU MTR Temp Sensor4 (°C), ISP MTR Temp Sensor5 (°C)
30.000000, 30.000000, 30.000000, 30.000000

Sometimes it jumps to the actual readings (between 40-50 idle) - then goes back to 30.000000 — is it just that no newer reading is available so it defaults to 30.xxx or is it the actual reading from the sensor?
