No "Quit Birds Kitchen" in Mac top menu (only "Close Window") - Command Q doesn't work
Command , (to open the preferences screen) doesn't work

Describe the bug
A month ago i formatted my drive because I han an issue and today I was going to make a recipe and remembered I lost my data. Lucky for me I kept a backup of the corrupted drive just in case I forgot to recover something. I recovered my birdskitchen.db and app did not work. Because I had previous versions, I loaded an older one and worked, but had less recipes.
Since it is a json I inspected it and compared both, to find the issue. I saw that the older one did not have images. Then I recovered the images and put them on media. The app worked fine.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'birdskitchen\medias' folder
2. Delete images
3. Open bird's kitchen
4. App is stuck and does not load

Expected behavior
Open the app but show the images as missing.

Describe the bug
I was in the middle of transferring my recipes from Gourmet Recipe Manager. After each recipe saved, the GUI would refresh and I'd have to scroll back down to the bottom to confirm where I was. This worked... right up until it tried to refresh and failed to reload. Now when I open the app all I see is the blank background window. Terminal output shows me this:

To Reproduce
I'm afraid I haven't the foggiest - unless there's an upper limit on database size that I somehow already ran against?

Expected behavior
After GUI refresh, the menus and recipes should have reappeared

Thank you for this app, it really looks nice. However, most Linux people hate, and I think that there are actually some guidelines on this, when an application is messing with their user folder. Please consider putting birdskitchen folder in the .local folder instead of directly in the user folder.

On large display:

• the layout is a bit crooked;
• font is too big;
• broken ratio of recipe thumbnail;

General look is weird.

I have a collection of many recipes from Public Domain sources, e.g. in mealmaster form. It would be great if I could import those. There are a number of massive Apps and websites, all have a format, some in .xml, Recipe Keeper, Paprika, Yummly and more. But I want to migrate to this app and keep everything local. but without an import fuinction I will have to coy and paste so many, it will take too long to do.

Describe the bug
My data opens with my Windows version but when I try to open it with the Linux AppImage I get a black window. Initially they both opened but after I added many recipes on my Windows version the Linux version comes up all black with no menus or buttons of any kind.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
I don't know if it is just a formatting issue because I imported recipes from another program. Not sure what to say on just how to reproduce this.

Expected behavior
A database that opens without problem on Windows should open on a Linux machine since it is just a flat file.
