anubad's Issues

Experimental branch broken

I am unable to run any of the scripts from experimental branch.

I get these errors:

receive error during `make`

I get error on dev and experimental branch during make. I didn't bother to test the master branch as it seemed to be outdated.

  1. ./configure - pulls the latest translation files
  2. make fails with following error message

I cloned the git repo and then used ./configure which threw the following error

You can see the 404 Not Found error which basically means the pages were not found in the designated places. configure script tries to download https://github.com/foss-np/np-l10n-glossary/archive/current.tar.gz. This path is missing from the np-l10n-glossary repo and is causing the above issue.

Build Error

While trying to make project, I get the following errors:

./app.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 2158, in _find_spec
AttributeError: 'DynamicImporter' object has no attribute 'find_spec'

During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

Add respective english sounds

Current display is in the format:

hello [हेलो]
source:foss/en2np/main.tra

  1. noun >> नमस्कार
  2. verb >> स्वागत

How about we also add respective sounds e.g. 1. noun >> नमस्कार (Namaskar)

This way this will also be beneficial to foreigner seeking to learn Nepalease.

Broken buttons, does not work when clicked throws errors

This is how the UI looks, some of the icons are broken as expected :)

I already have the "foss" created from latest glossary repo.

Broken UI

When Load New Glossary button is clicked, it displays the following error in console:

Trying to run app from master branch gives following output.

Getting "anubad" not found error with "sudo make link"

I tried to test the latest changes in the experimental branch with "sudo make link" as per instruction on the document but it failed with "anubad" not found error. Perhaps the link is not created as expected.

I also tried to run application from python3 main.py I then ended up with another issue #13

Can't run app from experimental branch

I checked out experimental branch and tried running it. I ended up with following errors.

Basically, AttributeError: 'TextView' object has no attribute 'set_top_margin' seems to be the problem. Maybe I am using the older Gtk.
