certificate verification warnings using the INI file for session creation about fp-ngfw-smc-python HOT 2 CLOSED

I never used uni files but you need to set verify=/path/to/cert.pem like on following example

from smc import session
session.login(url='https://1.1.1.1:8082', api_key='xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx',
verify='/Users/username/home/mycacert.pem')

Hello Greg, thanks for your answer,

I have found the solution to my problem. It turns out it was some rather dumb error on OSI layer 8: I used apostrophes inside the INI file which congruously results in errors I misinterpreted.

I never used uni files but you need to set verify=/path/to/cert.pem like on following example

Externalizing credentials resp. having the api_key somewhere else is mandatory in my case.
