Hello,
I have a MacBook Pro Retina 15" Early 2013 with NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M. Does anyone know or have been successful in applying this patch to work on this machine to get 4k @ 60hz? I am currently stuck at 30hz using mini display port to display port into an LG 27UD88 monitor. I have not tried the patch yet on this machine.

Try the patch and see for yourself :)
Try IOKit first, if that has little or no effect try to also patch the Nvidia one.
