amiga2000-remake's Issues

448 R401 1k Top - Where is it???

The locator seem to have skipped this one and I'm presently going blind and a bit crazy trying to find it... Can somebody give me a clue where it is?

Zorro Instability

I have built 3 of these boards, 2 work perfectly. However, a third board seems to have issues with zorro slots, specifically I am testing with a known good A2052 and with my first buster chip, all but the slot 1 pass the Amiga Test Kit memory test. With another Buster chip, every slot fails the Amiga Test Kit memory test. However, both buster chips work great in my other amiga boards. Anything I can check to get this working? All other memory tests pass including TF536 installed in the CPU SLOT. Zorro slots seem display errors weather I have the 68000 CPU installed or the TF536. Thanks for the help

Infos wanted

hi, contacting you here since I can't find anything else.

Have you taken notes of components values when removing then ?
The only available schematics is https://www.amigawiki.org/dnl/schematics/A2000_R6.pdf and seems to be a 6.0 one and some values are missing (which seems to change between revisions : http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=77864)

If you have made scans before sanding this would be a wonderful thing to easily see where the labels are too !

Any reasons of doing it this way of only a PCB (with a paid software) instead of doing a schematics, then a new PCB layout ? (except doing more work)

R215 & R3

for r215 there is just a pad and no hole, also R3 is not listed in the BOM nor the component locator, nor is it mentioned in the readme.md does R3 get populated? if so what is the value?

C1_and _R2

Hi!

On a pcb "Amiga 2000 Remake Rev 1.8.5", while I solder the passive components I have a doubt about C1 and R2 as picture shows:
C1_R2
It is sharing node with FB906, (as the main file show FB906 is unpopulated, ok), but the C1 and R2 must to be soldered as a serial? As show the silkscreen?

C1 and R2 sharing a soldered terminal "on air"?

What value for the R2? 68 Ohm?

Thanks in advance!!!

8375 Agnus Option

I would like to suggest that a new revision of this board be made to make it compatible with the 8375 Agnus chip and change the RAM from 1mb to 2mb.

+5 volt shorting to ground

Hi All,

This may be a stupid question but would welcome your take.

Since getting all the capacitors on the board, the other components were already in place, I am now seeing a short between the +5 volts and the ground when doing a continuity test.

Is this normal when only the passives are in place, none of the IC's are installed yet. I only noticed it since installing C214, C226 and C913 (all three are by the VIDOT/HY200). I have check for any obvious issues such as polarity on the Capacitors but they look fine visually.

Had a look at a 500+ board and this does the same but only for a second.

Would welcome any guidance here.
