Impact should be minimal.

Since you still have to make the large obelisks for 100%, it would be nice if there was another setting after AllowMiniObelisksToBePlacedAnywhere to make large obelisks still needed even when you can place mini obelisks outside the farm, by limiting their placement until you have the obelisk for that area, as if you needed the large ones to strengthen the 'connection'.

Something like this:

• No obelisks: Mini-obelisks only work within the farm, bus stop, and pelican town.
  

• Beach: Allows mini-obelisks on the beach, the forest and secret woods.
  

• Mountain: Allows mini-obelisks on the mountain, backwoods and Railroad.
  

• Desert: Allows mini-obelisks on the desert.
  

• Island: Allows mini-obelisks anywhere in the island.
  

An additional setting could require both the island obelisk in the farm and the farm obelisk in the island farm, for extra 'power' to compensate for the distance, since traveling there costs double than the desert.
