Flathub

Flathub is the central place for building and hosting Flatpak builds.

Using the Flathub repository

To install applications that are hosted on Flathub, use the following:

flatpak remote-add flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
flatpak install flathub org.gnome.Recipes

To install applications from the beta branch, use the following:

flatpak remote-add flathub-beta https://flathub.org/beta-repo/flathub-beta.flatpakrepo
flatpak install flathub-beta org.godotengine.Godot

Infinity loaidng after upgrading to 1.2.3

Just updated to 1.2.3 and the program is forever loading.

Can't find downloaded pdf files

Hi, I have installed your app using flatpak but whenever I download pdf files from chat sent to me, I get the notification in the bottom left corner that the file has been downloaded along with its name but I can't find the downloaded file. Where are the files stored? I can't seem to find them. Please help.

Potential trademark violation

Hi @mimbrero,

This wasn't caught during the initial review and I apologize for that. I'm afraid "WhatsApp Desktop" constitutes a trademark violation, even with various "unofficial" disclaimers.

This has been brought up due to similar app getting ownership verification on beta.flathub.org. While we're still discussing how to redesign the verification badge on the website to avoid issues like this, I think your app should be renamed to make it clear it's not related to WhatsApp itself. An example of that would be https://beta.flathub.org/apps/com.gigitux.youp which just says "Youp for whatsapp", making it clear it's a WhatsApp client unrelated to the service itself.

The application ID can stay the same; it's purely about the name.

Update to latest version

Hello, I noticed there have been some new releases (1.2.3 and 1.2.3-1) in mimbrero/whatsapp-desktop-linux but the Flatpak hasn't been updated here. Would it be possible to update it?
