English is not my first language, so forgive my lack of eloquence.

Firstly I want to say a big thank you!! Your post was really helpful to me, I've stumbled across your post while trying to relocate the test db from a system that I run locally.

Well the update part that I suggest came from some changes that postgresql apparently has made in their directory structure.

The current path to data in postgresql 15 is now '/var/lib/postgresql/15/main'

It does not affect directly your tutorial till the very end part where you state: "Environment=PGDATA=/home/pgdata/data"
This wasn't working for me, so I tried to change it to "Environment=base=/home/pgdata/data" an it works perfectly now.
