Aha! I ran into this too, but I didn’t connect the dots.

I'd propose that we either disable the mouse click

We want to keep mouse click as an option as that is for now our closest approximation to the eventual touch support we’ll want on a device like Switch or SteamDock.

So “implement selection change in mouse hover” is what we want 👍

Clarification:
I now see that mouse selection does not work (it will not change selection on hover) but mouse click is still set to select, so it will select the one currently selected by the buttons/cursors.
I'd propose that we either disable the mouse click to select or implement selection change on mouse over, to eliminate the confusion

from jumpy.
